Enjoy the Journey

This morning I made an observation.  While I carefully made my way from the van to the door trying hard to step in spots with the least amount of snow, my 4 year old was joyfully jumping from one snow drift to another and laughing the whole time.  I realized he was living truly in the moment.  It made me think of this quote from President Hinckley:

"Life is just like an old time rail journey ... delays, sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders, and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling bursts of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride..."

Take time to enjoy the ride today.  Jump in the snow.  Dance in the rain.  Breathe in the fresh air.  And thank the Lord for letting you have it!
